King of the Paper Ring - Yanko Design
How pretty a princess you will be! Or prince! Or both! A set of rings, all made of basically what you'd telephone call "regular" paper, each ane cut out (past you), rolled or folded, and worn monthly (or daily, depending on how crude you are.) Each blossom ring corresponds with a month out of the twelvemonth. There are two sets: ane birthday ready, and i "yearly" gear up. Fancy!
TT:NT has for us a simply beautiful little concept here that involves a lilliputian paper, a lilliputian cutting and folding, and a lot of giggles. These rings come up in one full ready ("All Year Rings") or in singles, packaged as a birthday card ("Altogether Rings.") These rings follow the following follow-able list of pretty pretty flowers:
Jan – Carnation
February – Violet
March – Jonquil
April – Daisy
May – Hawthorn
June – Rose
July – Tulip
Baronial – Poppy
September – Morning Glory
October – Cosmos
Nov – Chrysanthemum
Dec – Orchid
TT:NT believes that the birth month flowers originated some time in/during the Roman Empire. Wikipedia gives a slightly different listing of flowers, just no other info. If you've got some insider info on monthly birth flowers, go out a note! That would be awesome.
